About This Training
This comprehensive 5-day training provides participants with a solid foundation in the theory and practice of the Orton-Gillingham approach, a highly structured, multi-sensory, phonics-based approach to teaching reading and spelling.
The Orton-Gillingham approach is widely recognized as one of the most effective methods for teaching students with dyslexia and other reading difficulties. This training is ideal for educators, specialists, tutors, and parents who want to help struggling readers.
Upon completion, participants will have the foundational knowledge and skills to begin implementing the Orton-Gillingham approach with students. An optional practicum program is available for those seeking further certification.
